-- Covid Compliance Suggestions --

You already know that we live in wacky times but here's a few things to keep in mind as you make wedding and party plans:

- State/County Requirements. To this point the state and local government have left it to the event planner to be responsible for covid guideline compliance.  Since the regulations are always changing, you should check with the county health department for the latest requirements and/or restrictions.  You can find relevant phone numbers and information on the Flathead County Environmental Health Website

- The Weirdness Will Continue... at least Until it Ends Anyways.  While we eagerly await that glorious day, be prepared for all the weirdness.  If 2020's relentless beating has taught you anything, it's to take nothing for granted.  While buffet style catering is still an option, it's usually required that you have sufficient servers on hand to serve guests as they come through the line to minimize cross contamination of utensils.  This could be your Aunt Agnes and Uncle Ulysses, but chances are they didn't make the trip to your event just to be put to work... If you need us, KnucklHed can provide friendly, fun, knowledgeable & professional staff to serve your guests.  A great alternative to buffet is to have our Food Truck at your event, ask for details.

- Supply Shortages and Cost Increases are Never-ending. For example, in 2020 we saw the cost of beef and pork spike to nearly 5 times their usual prices.  Currently, disposable gloves are difficult to keep in stock and 4 times the price...  As we navigate through the uncertainties of the next year, we'll certainly do our best to keep our website information and pricing current.  If you've reserved a date (i.e. paid a deposit) we'll communicate with you directly as we receive information and updates that pertain to your event.  And of course you are always welcome to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

- Rescheduling and Cancellations.  As a caterer, it's necessary for a couple of reasons to require a nonrefundable deposit to reserve the date for your event.  Before we get into those reasons, rest assured, the crew here at KnucklHed BBQ will do everything we can to work with you for a rescheduled, postponed or even unknown date.  We've made a commitment to you and without a doubt, we intend to keep it.

One of the foremost reasons for a deposit is for your own peace of mind - you've locked in your date and know that you'll have your caterer there on the date you need them.

Second, and this might make us sound kinda rigid, but, many from out of the area choose Glacier Park for their destination wedding location, and unfortunately it's not uncommon for those folks to verbally reserve several caterers over a year in advance and then cancel the ones that they decide against a month or two before their event date... that leaves the caterer with open dates that undoubtedly would have been filled by another wedding or event.  A nonrefundable deposit makes sure that both parties are serious about the agreement.

In the event of the need for you to cancel your event, we will issue gift cards, offer services for other events or hold the credit for you until a new date can be scheduled.
